January 18, 2012--GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK—Vision Monitoring, a UL-Listed central station monitoring facility and division of World Wide Security, has gone to live monitoring with Cottage Pharmacy, Woodbury, N.Y. The owners of Cottage Pharmacy, decided to have the extra layer of security after the increase in violent pharmacy robberies by drug addicts seeking prescription drugs. The rise in crime, targeting pharmacies, has everyone concerned for safety. World Wide Security, through its Dart Security division, recently completed a total overhaul of the pharmacy’s security technology. “We installed approximately 30 cameras and 11 holdup buttons throughout the pharmacy,” explained Ben Cirlincione, General Manager.
