CEO & President Ken formed the Company in 1979, with kindergarten classmate Joe Ingegno, who has been Ken's partner for over 30 years.The business was started while Ken was attending Adelphi University where he later graduated with a business degree. Ken has served on the Board of Directors of the New York Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and was also the very first Vice President of the Long Island Alarm Association. He has worked with various law enforcement groups in an effort to educate police and fire officials about the security industry while helping to protect the public. While Ken runs the business side of the Company, his partner Joe handles the operations. He enjoys sales and marketing and has successfully completed over 20 acquisitions of smaller security companies over the last 30 years. An avid skier, Ken also enjoys tennis, golf and platform tennis.

Owner / Senior Vice President Joe co-founded the company with his partner Ken Mara and has over 32 years experience in the security industry. Presently as Executive Vice President, he directs all field operations and has trained and supervised many technicians over the years. Known for his commitment to quality craftsmanship, many technicians welcome the opportunity to work alongside Joe. Appearing on Network and Cable News TV Programs, he has been asked to speak on various topics such as How to Reduce False Alarms: and How to choose the Right Alarm Company for Your Home or Business. He is also knowledgeable in the latest technology in access control, home theater and multi-room audio. Joe enjoys being involved in the alarm industry and has conducted numerous seminars on training alarm technicians in all low voltage applications. |

Chief Financial Officer Serving as CFO for World Wide Security, Simson is an experienced industry professional with over a decade of experience in security, advertising, video integration and manufacturing. Simson oversees the execution of all operational and economic programs for raising capital, growth through acquisitions and the maintenance of the company's overall financial strength. Simson formerly served as vice president and chief financial officer at iVerify where he is credited with raising $25 million in capital; he also served as interim CEO of National Systems Integration. At Triax Capital Advisors, Simson was responsible for managing portfolio companies with measures to implement cost controls, internal business processes and weekly reporting requirements. Prior to this Simson was a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he obtained his CPA.

Vice President of Sales As an industry sales professional with over three decades of experience in alarm technology and best practices; Martorello directs the company's sales activities including trade show attendance and speaking engagements. Responsible for selling over 8,000 residential and commercial accounts, he also oversees sales training techniques for the company's service and installation departments.

Operations Manager With over 30 years experience in the alarm industry, McQuade holds an accredited class of New York alarm license course by the NAAA and has completed industry accredited courses on equipment such as Firelite, First Alert, Notifier and Silent Knight. As Special Projects Manager, McQuade works closely with other industry leaders and manufacturers to bring the best design innovations to World Wide Security's customers while imploring the best techniques for estimating and customizing projects. As a specialist in fire systems, CCTV, card access and life safety codes, McQuade works with federal, state and regional officials, as well as fire marshals on code requirements and approvals. McQuade is also NICET II level certified.

Vice President - Vision Monitoring Services After joining the company in 1993 as Vice President and co-founder of Vision Monitoring Services, Young oversees the operations and management of the central station at World Wide. Considered one of the largest and most technologically advanced central stations on Long Island, Vision Monitoring under Young's direction monitors over 15,000 accounts nationwide. Over a 100 alarm companies depend on Vision's central station to provide wholesale monitoring services. With over 25 years experience, Young is also the former president of the Long Island Alarm Association.

Vice President As a Hofstra University graduate with a distinguished background in law enforcement, Patricia has been with the company since 1980. She has held numerous growth management positions, before taking leave from the company during which time she pursued a career with the Nassau County Police Department, rising to the rank of detective. She rejoined the company where her valuable law enforcement experience has be relied on to develop numerous security and community outreach programs. Patricia is also responsible for instituting administrative programs focusing on customer retention and attrition. Patricia, who is married to Ken Mara is also an avid sports enthusiast enjoying tennis, golf and skiing.

Teri George Thar Director of School Safety Service Teri has been working with the owners of the company since the fall of 1982. Teri has held many positions including office manager and assistant to the president. Ten years ago, a separate division for school safety was established. This division handles safety issues for schools to include fire alarms, public address systems, intrusion alarms, closed circuit television and access controls. Teri works closely with managers of school facilities and attends their monthly meetings. Our companies have become the major installers of safety systems in schools over the past several years. Teri has 25 years of experience in the security industry. |
